Model Predictive Control by Change Control Rate Maximization and Control Action Minimization |
El Khansa BDIRINA, Kamel GUESMI |
Abstract
This work deals with the enhancement of Model Predictive Control approach when input constraints are imposed. We propose two modified criteria to enhance the system dynamics and performances without need to relax the constraint on the control action. This objective is achieved by adding two objects in the classical criterion of control strategy: Maximization of the rate’s change of the control action and energy minimization. The proposed technics are validated and applied to a cart with inverted pendulum system, their performances are evaluated through simulation results and a comparative study where results show the effectiveness of these one. |
